The Senior Special Assistant to president Muhammadu Buhari on media and publicity, Garba Shehu, has reacted to a post by a twitter handle @PDPNigeria believed to be owned by the opposition party People’s Democratic Party, which accused him of buying 800,000 United States Dollars from the Central Bank of Nigeria at a cheaper rate, and selling it off the same day.
Responding on his twitter handle @GarShehu today, Mr. Shehu denied being a FOREX trader, saying, “The day I choose to start trading in FOREX I will resign as a presidential spokesman.
He added, “If I know the coward and psychopath behind the official @PDPNigeria handle, I will launch a defamation suit against him/her.”
