The Atelier Versace show was particularly spectacular featuring all our favourite models- Joan Smalls, Rosie Huntington Whiteley, Lara Stone, and Gigi Hadid. Spring Summer 2016 Couture shows are rolling in with Dior, Giambattista Valli and Versace.
The show which was defined as Sporty Couture by Donatella Versace was just about as sporty as Couture should be with the needed doze of sexiness in form of sheer and risque cuts.
After all what’s a Versace dress sans charm, sexiness and femininity? We really can’t picture it either.
Trouser suits comprising of high-waisted trousers and cropped vests, cowl-backed gowns and short mini dresses came with risque cutouts and were held back together again with Swarovski thick ropes tied in chunky knots.
Donatella said she was thinking about women who liked to push fashion to the limits and this was evident in the collection – the deep plunging necklines, the wide cutouts, the sheer infusion and the thigh high slit that carried throughout the entire show.
