Nigerian Reggae-Dancehall star Burna Boy has announced that he is now the official brand ambassador of Martell Cognac, one of the oldest cognac houses in France. “Say hello to your official Martell Ambassador,” he wrote on his IG page, celebrating. “2016 has already begun!!!”
After signing up as the first Nigerian artiste to bag a record deal with Island Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. And then he headlined this year’s Hennessy Artistrycampaign in Nigeria. And now Martell Cognac…
Although he missed out on major award nominations, like the BET and MTV Africa Music Awards, there are strong hopes that Burna Boy will be taking back what rightly belongs to him in 2016.
