The Lagos state police command says it has discovered the decomposing bodies of six women inside a canal in Ikorodu Lagos State. Spokesperson of the command, DSP Joseph Offor said the decomposing bodies of the yet to be identified women were found in a canal at Anibaba area, off Akele Street, Ikorodu, at about 3.30 p.m. on Sunday December 6th. He added that Lagos State environmental agency officials have since removed the corpses to a public mortuary for autopsy. No arrest had been made in connection with the deaths.
