Rapper Naeto C and wife celebrate 4th wedding anniversary

Rapper Naeto C and his wife Nicole are celebrating their 4th wedding anniversary today July 21st. The couple got married in on July 21st 2012 and already have a boy and a girl. On her IG page, Nicole wrote

RRS nabs 22 suspected kid robbers in Agege

The operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of Lagos State Police Command have arrested 22 teenagers for robbery, stealing and cultism.

The 22 teenagers, amongst whom are four female, were arrested for allegedly involved in separate incidences of robbery, stealing and cultism around Agege and its environs.


The two leaders of the first gang, which consist of eight members, Babatunde, 15 and Tayo, 15, were arrested on last Thursday, at about 11:30 p.m. in Mulero, Agege for assaulting and robbing one Aladegbo Abidemi with an axe, and snatching her Blackberry Z10.

The suspects were reported to have given out other members of the gang the following day

Eric Avina pictured above is a middle aged HIV positive Malawian man whose responsibility it is to conduct "sexual cleansing" for underaged and also matured women in Nsanje district in southern Malawi.

Avina in his community is referred to as Hyena, a traditional title given to a man hired by communities in several remote parts of southern Malawi to provide what's called sexual "cleansing".

House of Rep. member slumps and dies in Abuja this morning

A member of the House of Representatives, representing Ifako Ijaiye Constituency of Lagos State, Hon. Elijah Adewale slumped and died this morning Thursday July 21, in his Abuja residence.

Adewale had earlier attended the caucus meeting of the House of Representatives yesterday before his sudden death. He was 65 years old.

Born in 1951, Adewale was a former Special Adviser on Education during former Governor Babatunde Fashola administration. He obtained a bachelor's degree in 1979 from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.

The cause of his death is not yet known.

Intoxicated woman is captured on camera rolling in the streets naked (18+)

37 soldiers involved in ghastly accident in Kano

37 soldiers were injured yesterday after a military truck they were traveling in got involved in a ghastly accident along Kano- Gaya. According to the State sector Commander of Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), Aminu Umar, the accident occurred around 9am when the military truck which was conveying the soldiers led by Maj. R. O. Alieze had brake failure in Gaya town in Gaya local government area of the state. He added that the injured soldiers had since been taken to General Hospital Dutse in for medical treatment. No death was recorded.

An attempted Turkish military coup appeared to have failed in the early hours of Saturday after crowds answered President Tayyip Erdogan's call to take to the streets to fight for the country. The President who was on vacation when the attempted coup took place appeared in a video call to the studio of the Turkish sister channel of CNN, where an announcer held up a mobile phone to the camera to show him. He called on Turks through facetime to take to the streets to defend his government.

Police arrest 3 members of notorious kidnap gang in Kogi State, rescue victims

The Nigeria Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) has arrested three members of a notorious kidnap gang that have terrorized Kogi State and its environs and rescued four kidnapped victims at different locations.

A statement by Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Don Awunah said a special intelligence led operation conducted by the operatives of the Intelligence Response Team of the IGP’s Monitoring Unit at different black spots in Kogi State, three members of a notorious kidnap gang that has for a while operated in major cities in Kogi and neighbouring States were trailed and arrested at their hideouts in the outskirt of Egume and Anyimgba Towns in Kogi State.

The leader of the gang who gave his name as Ibrahim Nasarawa led the operatives of Intelligence Response Team to their den where Edward Abutu Amedu was held hostage. On sighting the Operatives,

The Violence against Persons (Prohibition) Act, 2015 has recorded its first casualty as a Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Kubwa, Abuja has sentenced a 29 year old housewife, Mrs. Onyekachi Okafor to 9 Months imprisonment for violating aspects of the Act.

This is coming on the heels of the conviction of Mrs. Mavis Solomon by a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, River State presided over by Justice A. Liman. Mrs. Solomon was charged by NAPTIP to Court for purchasing a 10 Months old baby at the cost of N200, 000 from 2 others who are also under prosecution. The offence is contrary to Section 21 of the Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition) Enforcement and Administration Act, 2015. She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 2 years imprisonment.

India's 'gold man' beaten to death at a birthday party

An Indian businessman, Datta Phuge  who made headlines in 2013 for buying one of the world's most expensive shirts, a customised gold shirt worth 12.7 million rupees, around $240,000 dollars at the time, which was made entirely of gold has been beaten to death in western India, according to a report Friday.


It was made up of 14,000 pieces of 22-carat gold, weighed 3.32 kilogrammes (7.3 pounds) and was put together by 15 craftsmen over 16 days.

Phuge was a money lender from Pune in Maharashtra state and was nicknamed, "gold man", a title he cherished.
